We are looking for 1-2 high school graduates or  college freshmen for Summer 2012.  They will create a database of  Pakistani American owned businesses US wide. They will be searching on  internet and calling to get information to fill database. The candidates  must be well versed  in computer use and applications such as Microsoft  office and Internet search. They must live in South Bay area.Flexible timing and mostly work from home.  Modest stipend can be paid based on qualifications and work output. If you are interested, email your resume to admin@pacc-ca.org.</p>

Food:            Bring your favorite dish to share with your friends{ not mandatory}</p>
<p>The PACC Family Music Program offers a supportive and non-judgmental  environment to have fun with singing and music by any person who wants to  perform. If you wish to perform you will be given equal chance to participate.  Bring your friends and families. We need audience also.</p>
<p>If you want to volunteer yourself for sound set up and organizing this event,  please contact us.</p>
<p>Rules/Regulation of Family music night:</p>
<p>1.     You  need to sign up as soon as you arrive Chances are given on first  come first   serve basis</p>
<p>2.      After first chance you can sign up again if time allows.</p>
<p>3.     Regular participants (at least 50% attendance in last 6 months} will  be given a chance to perform in major events organized by PACC. It will be  through a lottery system. Register with Yasmeen yourself if you want to perform  at PACC events.</p>

Oral Proficiency Interview will be conducted. See <a href="http://www.govtilr.org/">http://www.govtilr.org/</a> for further info. Must achieve 2 in English and 3 in target language.</p>
<p>Four year accredited university degree is the minimum requirement. Related degrees in foreign language education, linguistics, MATFL/TESOL, language, literature, education, educational psychology, or educational administration etc. are preferred. (MA or higher preferred.) Some exceptions may be considered</p>
<p><strong>The Institute:</strong> The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is a year-round school specializing in foreign languages. Offering 20+  languages to approximately 3,000+ students from the four military services.</p>

<p>City College of San Francisco Sponsors: Department of Social Sciences, Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Women’s Studies Department, Concerts and Lectures Committee</p>
<p>Dr. Samia Altaf, a public health physician, is the author of <em>So Much Aid, So Little Development: Stories From Pakistan </em>published by Woodrow Wilson Center and Johns Hopkins University Press. Dr. Altaf brings together advanced training and rich international experience with an understanding of the health sectors in developing countries.</p>
<p>Dr. Samia Altaf graduated from the Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan, and the University of California at Berkeley, and is certified by the American Board of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She has worked for UNICEF and USAID in Pakistan and for the California Department of Health and District of Columbia, Department of Health, in the USA. She has consulted for the Government of Pakistan, WHO, CIDA, and Swiss Inter-Cooperation. She was a faculty member at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi where she retains an adjunct appointment. Dr. Altaf was the 2007-2008 Pakistan Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC.</p>
<p>Dr. Altaf is currently working for the Government of District of Columbia.</p>

About 400 people attended the event. After Screening, Dr. Mohammad Jawad, the main character, spoke and answered questions from the audience.
