Dinner Seminar on

Walled City of Lahore

A restoration project led by Kamran Lashari is bringing all the buildings and monuments of the inner city Lahore back to its former grandeur. From Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Wazir mosque, Mazar Allama Iqbal, Shahi Hamaam, Spice Bazaar to inner streets of Lahore, are now wonderful places to visit. This project is being done with cooperation UNICEF and Aga Khan Foundation. 

Kamaran is one of the highest ranking bureaucrat of Pakistan credited for renovation of Lahore and Islamabad, while he served as DC there. He is a entertaining and very knowledgeable speaker, on wide array of subjects especially in the history of Lahore. Mr. Lashar will talk about the history and present status of walled city project. Highlight of his talk are the challenges he faced and solutions he found.

The program will start at 6PM with networking, presentation followed by dinner and end with a musical performance by the very talented Assad Waince.

More than 200 seats have been taken. About 100 tickets at $25 are available for purchase. Absolutely no ticket sale at the door.
